So I felt that it was time to retire my old journal and move into a new one. I've spent the last three hours burning your favorite incense, spilling your old perfume all over myself on accident, and listening to the songs you used to love on repeat after one of them showed up on my playlist and punched me in the heart. One of these days, I'll actually be able to tell myself I'm completely over you and it won't be a lie. Today is not that day.

Today you're turning twenty-four without me and it's been two and a half years, but somehow it still hurts.

What was your first fandom love(s)? Your first ship(s)?

On livejournal my first was probably Kingdom Hearts, since it was through Uzumaki's fic that I even realized LJ had fic on it. Back then it was all the big names of KH fandom. Karmacitadel. Orisghost. Fruchiseka. Etc. Etc. Obviously, my first ship was Riku/Sora, because that was the dear heart of the fandom at the time. Fandom in general was different, namely because I was obsessed with Inuyasha fanfic sites when I was eleven/twelve. Iridescent Dreams had some pretty good fic on it and through Inuyasha I found Yu Yu Hakusho and Fruits Basket and many others. Somewhere in all of this was a flirtation with Harry Potter fic and my first discovery of slash, which made me blush a lot and feel guilty because back then I'd been raised Catholic all my life and was under the impression that gay people would all burn in hell.

Yeah, my mother was spectacular.

So my first fandoms in general were Inuyasha and Harry Potter. First fandom on LJ was Kingdom Hearts.

First pairings were Inuyasha/Kagome and Lily/James. First pairing on LJ was Riku/Sora.

...Good times.

In other news, I started my period, which is awesome as hell and one of the most famous PJO fan artists did art of my fic. Since she pimped that fic I have gained forty+ new followers on my writing blog and twenty something on my personal blog. Also, the notes on the fic went from 27 to 240 262. Yeah. Yeah. Just, holy shit.

Okay, so recently someone on Ao3 asked if I could rec them any Axel/Roxas fic, and I realized that while I do have a lot of recs out there, they are 1: not in one place and 2: don't contain all the recs I could really give. So! I'mma make a reclist all in one place here that way you guys (and I!) can have a place to access it. So without further ado!
